Tanner is TWO!

My sweet little baby is no longer a baby.  He is TWO!  I want to cry!  

First day home, 1st Birthday, 2nd Birthday

But he is an amazing little kid.  He's so kind, and loving.  And pretty chill.  He's learning so much so fast and talking a lot.  I am so thankful for him. And I literally have a "he's AMAZING" moment every single day.  

At his doctor's appointment on Monday he was 29.5 lbs (68%), 34.25 inches (46%), and his head was 50.5 cm (90%).  He's absolutely perfect in communication and all of his skills.  

We flew home from NC the day before his birthday, so we decided to have a little family get together for Tanner's party while we were home.  I'm very glad we did that. It was great to have family there, since last year it was just friends.  (And I've just remembered that I never posted pictures from Tanner's first birthday! Huge fail!)

Thank you so much, mom, for helping with his party! It turned out amazing!

He got this gift on his birthday.  He loves it.

Our neighbor (who shares the same birthday) made him some cookies! 

I'm looking forward to this next year.  Watching him grow and learn more.  And watching him become a big brother.  I am so incredibly blessed! I love you, Tanner Lee!

17 Weeks and Family Visit Pictures

I am 17 weeks pregnant today.  It's a little difficult to believe I'm that far along, already.  We find out if 2.0 is a boy or a girl in 10 days!

I'm still feeling run down and nauseous every single day.  I have to rely on zofran just to get anything done.  And today, taking zofran as soon as I woke up apparently didn't help. I re-read some old blog posts I wrote from when I was pregnant with Tanner, and I was feeling so much better by this time.  I barely have an appetite, but I force myself to eat little things throughout the day. I also haven't gained anything. I'm sure that's because I just don't want to eat anything.  17 weeks along with Tanner I was already up 9 pounds! Yikes. We have Hershey Kisses and M&Ms in the house and I just don't want any of it.  

I have felt kicks, though! And that's always awesome.

Nick's mom and brother drove out to Oklahoma last week.  It was really nice to see them! I really miss family.  Tanner enjoyed the visit as well.

July Phone Photo Dump (19 Months Old)

Since Tanner is still 19 months old, there wont be as many pictures in this photo dump.  

He's a little big for the wagon. But that doesn't stop him!

He LOVES playing in the ottoman. He brings the ball bin over to it and dumps it out every morning.

June Phone Photo Dump (18 Months Old)

 It's been a little while since I did a phone photo dump.  So while I'm resting on the couch trying not to throw up, I'll do a couple posts for June and July. Remember, these pictures are from my phone, so they will probably be blurry and grainy.

We let Tanner take a nice long nap on the 4th of July (after going to his first movie- Monster's University). So we kept him up a little later than usual so he could see the fireworks.  He wasn't too sure about them. He didn't like the big 'Pops', but he did say, "Woooow" a few times.  As long as he had Dada to cuddle up to he was fine.

Waiting for it to get dark enough for the fireworks.  Getting sleepy but watching the cars drive by was pretty neat.

Nick loves to go bowling.  The last time we went we decided to see what Tanner thought of it.  The smallest sized shoes they had were 3 sizes too big, but they worked. He thought the ball return was SO MUCH BETTER than rolling the ball down the lane.

Not too bad for an 18 month old's first try! Especially the last two frames!

Tanner and Bud are really starting to bond.

Bud knows the sweet spot is below the highchair during meal times!
