This has been a very difficult week for the Air Force Community. An MC-12 crashed earlier this week, and now a KC-135. The 4 crew men on the MC-12 were killed. And it's too early to know about the KC-135's crew. This really is hard to hear. Many of our friends are out there flying their aircraft and are constantly in harms way. This could be any of of them. Gosh, it could be my husband.
All I can do is pray for the crew, their families, and anyone else involved. I can't imagine how much the families hurt.
Praying that God will comfort their pain ...
ReplyDeleteHi! I found your blog through 1+1+1, and wanted to say hello! The name caught my eye right away - my husband has been AF for 10 1/2 years, although he is on the other side of the flying - he is a crew chief! We are also right on the other side of your border, in AR :) It's nice to 'meet' another AF wife, and mommy! I don't always catch all the news, although my husband generally knows what happens out there, so this saddens me to hear about the planes going down - I know what it's like to wonder what it would be like had it been my husband! Anyway, just wanted to say hello! :) Looking forward to following you in tot school! I also blog at www.nogreaterhonors.blogspot.com and would love for you to meet my AF family!
ReplyDeleteHi Amy! It's great to "meet" other Air Force wives! I will definitely be checking out your blog!
ReplyDeleteI had a great time surfing through yours this afternoon, and had to pull myself away when the kids woke up from their naps! :)
